How an engagement runs

Four steps, and the last one is us leaving.

The same shape every time, whatever the size of the job.

  1. A call, thirty minutes

You describe what is stuck. We say whether we can help, and if not, who can.

  2. A fixed proposal

Scope, price and dates on two pages, within three working days. No hourly meter.

  3. The work, in the open

A shared plan, a weekly half-hour, and numbers you can check yourself.

  4. A handover

Your people run it. We check in at thirty and ninety days, included.

Questions

Before the first call.

How big does a company need to be?

Most clients have between 20 and 200 people and an owner who is still in the day to day. Smaller than that, a good bookkeeper and one afternoon with us is usually enough.

What does it cost?

An operations review is a fixed $18,000. Everything else is priced on two pages after the first call. We do not bill by the hour.

Do you work on site?

For a review, yes: at least four days with your team. After that most work is remote, with a visit each month.

Will you tell us to buy software?

Rarely. Most companies already pay for tools that would do the job if someone set them up properly. We do that first.

What happens when the project ends?

Your people run it. We check in at thirty and ninety days at no charge, and you can call any time.

Clients

What owners say afterwards.

  • The first time I understood my own margins.

We had revenue and no idea which jobs made it. Six weeks later I had one page, every Monday, and I stopped guessing.

Marta Ilves, owner, a commercial bakery, Client since 2023
  • They left, and it kept working.

I have hired consultants who wrote a binder. Calloway trained two of my people to run the plan and then got out of the way.

Devon Okafor, CEO, a freight broker, Client since 2022
  • Honest about what not to fix.

Half their report was things to leave alone. That saved us a year of busywork.

Lena Brandt, founder, an architecture studio, Client since 2024
